Description
Daido Nishigaki (1942-) Head priest of Gokurakuji Temple, Daitokuji School. Born in Kinosaki, Kurano Prefecture. After graduating from Buddhist University, he served at Daitoku Sodo and Shokokuji Sodo before arriving at his current position. In 2007, he was awarded the Medal with Blue Ribbon in recognition of his many years of welfare work. In 2016, he was awarded the Order of the Sacred Treasure in the spring conferment of honors.
