The bottom of this birdhouse has the Mayco mold mark and it is incised with "Papa Fox 97".  Did Papa work for Mayco or own the mold?  It is a definite acorn shape but is painted to look like a thatch roof cottage.  The top is glazed in a beautiful sky blue and the sides are painted with what looks like Wisteria vines and flowers.  So very charming.
