H&R RSS-Monotube Clubsport
H&R Clubsport RSS coilovers are the sportiest version of the H&R Monotube coilovers. Compared to the Monotube coilover suspension, the H&R Clubsport RSS suspension RSS-48-865-2/1 offers significantly higher spring rates and adjusted damper rates (e.g. for occasional track days). The coordination of springs and damping lies between the regular H&R coilover suspensions for road use and the pure H&R racing suspensions. Of course, the Clubsport coilovers are also equipped with high-quality monotube gas pressure dampers. The upside-down technology, which is superior in terms of transverse stiffness, is used on the wheel-guiding axle legs.The chassis is not only suitable for professional racing, but is also available with TÜV approval (e.g. for BMW E8X and E9X, Porsche 924, 944 and 968, Toyota Yaris GR as well as VW Golf II and Golf III).
A “V” at the end of the article number indicates the possible damping force adjustment. Depending on the context, an “S” at the end means either decommissioning kit or support bearing included.

H&R produces coilovers in different versions (mono-tube and twin-tube). Article RSS-48-865-2/1 refers to a Clubsport RSS coilover kit. H&R Monotube refers to high-quality monotube gas pressure dampers on the front and rear axles that ensure precise driving and response behavior. Thanks to the upside-down axle strut, the Monotube model variant achieves particularly good lateral force support and precise wheel guidance, even with high lateral forces caused by acceleration, braking or cornering.
Version Clubsport. For cars with 5-hole wheels. With standard wheel/tyre combination and some aluminium wheels wheel spacers are required. Lowering beyond the dimensions given in the type approval may result in damage. These damages are not covered by H&R. The minimum clearance between tires and suspension/body parts is 5 mm. If the clearance is less than 5 mm, it has to be restored with wheel spacers or reworking thebodywork. This bodywork and/or arising costs are not covered by H&R.
