Company History

Frost Ltd was founded in 1905 in Rochdale, Lancashire, as a general engineering company and quickly became specialists in sheet metal working machinery. After Mr Frost passed away in 1948, the company was bought by the Wood family and moved to its Crawford Street location.

In the 1980s, the company often advised customers where to find various types of restoration equipment. With the continued manufacture of the English Wheel and Mike Wood’s contacts in classic car racing, Mike had an idea: put his restoration knowledge into a small sales booklet. Frost Restoration was born.

We offer an outstanding range of brands, some exclusive to Frost UK, including:

  • Evaporust & Dinitrol – Rust Treatment

We also stock hard-to-find tools not available from major retailers and have launched our own FROST branded products, offering premium quality at a bargain price.

Delivery & Dispatch

UK Deliveries:

  • Most items are held in stock. Orders placed before 3:30pm, Monday – Friday, are dispatched the same day. Delivery usually takes 2–3 working days (Saturday is not included).

  • Some items are supplied directly by manufacturers and may take 4–6 working days. Check the estimated delivery date in each listing.

  • Most items in our eBay store include FREE Economy UK Mainland Delivery. Free delivery uses the most cost-effective method (1st & 2nd class post). Please allow up to 14 working days for delivery before raising a claim.

Liquids & Pressurised Goods:

  • Restricted from being shipped outside mainland UK.

  • If purchased from outside mainland UK, we will contact you as we cannot fulfil these orders.

Returns & Exchange

Items may be returned for refund, credit, or exchange within 7 days of receipt if:

  • Returned carriage paid

  • Received in resalable condition

  • Returned unused in original packaging

  • Includes all original packaging and components

Important:

  • Returns after 7 days may incur a minimum 10% restocking charge.

  • Specially ordered or custom items cannot be returned.

  • Include name, address, account/order number, and reason for return.

  • Obtain a Returns Authorisation Number before returning goods.

  • Frost is not responsible for labour charges for fitting/removal of parts.

Shortages & Damage

Report any shortages or carrier damage within 5 days of receipt. Claims after this period may not be processed.
