What is Lactulose Solution?

Lactulose Solution is a natural laxative to help ease constipation.

Lactulose softens stools and promotes their movement through the bowel. It is a colonic acidifier and works by drawing water into the colon, which softens the stool and helps to produce a bowel movement.

Lactulose is different from some other laxatives, which work by stimulating your bowel and using muscular contractions to move your stools through your system.

Warnings and Precautions 

Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients it contains

Do not use if:

• You have Glucose-galactose malabsorption
• You have a galactose or fructose intolerance
• You have Galactosaemia
• You have a blockage in your gastrointestinal tract that is caused by anything other than constipation
• You have a Lapp lactase deficiency

Speak to your GP or our pharmacist before use if:

• Diabetes
• You have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars
• Unexplained tummy ache
• Being unable to digest milk sugar, also known as lactose intolerance
