When Richard Nixon opened trade with China in the early 1970's the build quality of imported goods was comparable what was being made in the "Western World." As time has passed China has dominated production and the build quality of consumer goods has sharply declined. The modern economy requires rampant consumerism, therefore modern products are made to fail. Older products were better made designed to be serviceable, modern products are generally not. These meet my personal criteria, I would use them personally.
Whichever fixture you ultimately choose for your home, please avoid irreplaceable LED panels. Buy a quality product that is hardwired and uses standard replaceable bulbs. It will save you money in the long run.
