In the UK your Pallet Delivery will be made Monday to Friday between 8.30AM - 5.30PM.
Please make sure someone is available to sign for the goods as a failed delivery will either mean you will have to pick up the item yourself or you will incur £25.
Redelivery charges which will need to be paid before the delivery is made.
The courier will redeliver your item the next working day between 8.30AM – 5.30PM. Please check the condition before signing, signing for any item you are accepting the item is in good condition.
This is important because the couriers waiver liability once the item has been signed for.
If the driver will not let you examine the item or remove the packaging please sign for the item as DAMAGED put this by your signature. Please follow these instructions.
In the event of a part failure, we will supply a replacement part. If a replacement cannot be located within a reasonable timeframe, we will refund the full purchase price.
If you ordered an incorrect part (e.g., the part number differs), please return it with a completed Returns Form (see ‘Returns’) to request the correct part. Our return policy allows for returns within 30 days. Upon receipt of the returned item, we will promptly send a replacement if available. If the requested part is unavailable, we will issue a refund and notify you by email. Please note that return postage charges are non-refundable unless the item was faulty, or an incorrect part was sent.
A replacement or refund will be issued only if the item is returned in the same condition as supplied, with security marks intact.
Charles Trent Limited does not cover labour costs or any charges related to fitting, removal, or replacement of parts supplied.
3-Month Standard Warranty: Applied as standard to all engine and gearbox listings. Included with all engine and gearbox purchases.

(SILVER) 6-Month Warranty (+10%): Available for an additional 10% of the item price. Replacement parts will be covered by the same 6-month warranty. No labour coverage is included (Minimum warranty price: £20).
(GOLD) 12-Month Warranty (+20%): Available for an additional 20% of the item price. If a replacement is necessary, the replacement part will also be covered under the same 12-month warranty. No labour coverage is included (Minimum warranty price: £40).
(PLATINUM) 12-Month Warranty with Labour Cover (+25%): Available for an additional 25% of the item price. This option provides 12 months of warranty coverage, including labour costs for repairs or replacement. Labour cover only applies to the original purchase. The replacement part is covered by the same 12-month warranty; additional labour costs require separate payment (Minimum warranty price: £60).
To qualify for labour coverage, you must submit invoices for the original fitment and any subsequent repairs or replacements. These invoices should detail labour hours and parts used and must be issued under Charles Trent Limited’s name. Prior approval from Charles Trent Ltd is required before any work is carried out. Labour costs are covered based on the original invoice from the garage at a rate of up to £75 per hour.
Engine and gearbox installations must be carried out by a certified, qualified mechanic to ensure proper fitting. Installations by private individuals are not covered.
Engines and gearboxes are sold as bare units, excluding additional components (e.g., starter motors, alternators). Ancillary parts like water pumps, cam belts, turbos, injectors, sensors, and modules are provided free of charge and are not covered by the warranty.
Before installation, a thorough vehicle inspection is required to rule out unrelated issues. Any warranty claim must be supported by diagnostic reports, videos, and images of the faulty part, which will be reviewed by the seller. No replacement or reimbursement will be provided if the issue results from overheating, lack of lubrication, neglect, or failure to follow the manufacturer's guidelines. Faults caused by components not supplied by Charles Trent Limited are not covered.
Charles Trent Limited does not cover:
Any component that has been dismantled or tampered with, except for replacement of standard service parts.
The warranty does not cover gaskets, oils, seals, cam belts, timing belts, fan belts, any ancillary parts, or damage resulting from misuse, improper fitting, neglect, accident, or continued use.
Please note: We strongly recommend that all safety-critical parts be fitted only by certified automotive technicians. We accept no liability for malfunction, damage, or injury caused by incorrect installation of these components.

Returns Terms & Conditions
We hope that you are completely satisfied with your order from Charles Trent Limited but appreciate that there may be a time that a part needs to be returned to us. Simply return the part/s in their original condition within 30 days of receipt for a refund. We will issue a refund upon receipt and examination. Items should, wherever possible, be returned in their original (or similarly robust) packaging with a completed Returns Form.
For items damaged in transit notification must be made through our store within 24 hours and images supplied of packaging and part to enable claims to be processed. Click here to make our team aware of an issue.
Any deliveries which fail through no fault of the courier or seller will incur return charges, these are billed to Charles Trent Limited and WILL be passed on.
Please note we are not penalising anyone for making a mistake or changing their mind, simply passing on the charges we incur.
International returns please note: If you are returning anything to us from outside the EU you must complete a customs declaration correctly indicating that the package contains “returned goods” or similar. If your parcel is stopped in UK customs and a charge levied, we will refuse payment and the package will be returned to you. Under no circumstances will we pay customs duty in order to receive back our parts.
If you are completing an international return email our aftersales team to book in the faulty/incorrect return. We will then advise and assist you with the return. Please include as many details as possible about the fault.
If you have received your order and an item is missing, please first check your dispatch note for any indication that the item is being dispatched separately. If the item is not included on the dispatch note, it will be arriving separately. If the item is listed but not present, please email us quoting your order number and stating the missing item and we will investigate the matter further.

Gather important information about your vehicle, such as the make, model, year of manufacture, engine size, and any other relevant specifications. This information is crucial for finding compatible parts. Many mechanical parts will be relevant to the engine size e.g., engine, alternators, starter motors, ac compressors.
Other parts will be relevant to the year range e.g., MK3 and Mk4 year range will most likely differ on parts.
If purchasing parts such as doors and panels or parcel shelfs, please ensure you match the vehicle shape, i.e., Hatchback, Saloon, Estate, Coupe or Cabrio. A recommendation on door mirrors is to understand it’s possible features i.e., manual fold, power fold, heated, puddle light, and/or indicator.

Within the item specifics of the listing will be the vehicle manufacture part number. If you have your old part removed from your vehicle you can cross reference the part number to ours in the listing. Alternatively, if you obtain the part number from the vehicle manufacturer you can use this to search within eBay and cross reference against our listing.
4. Compare Photos
For exterior parts you can look at comparing our photos against the part on your vehicle. For example, on taillights it is important to check for different tints and shapes. When it comes to parts like door mirrors, it could be important to check the number of pins the plug has as it will vary for mirrors with different features such as power fold option.
