Dated April 7, 1888, this stock certificate certifies that Mr. Edward ??? (can't make out) the owner of 100 shares of One Hundred Dollars each of the Capital Stock of the East and West Railroad Company of Alabama, which shares are transferable only on the books of the Company in person or by Attorney and upon surrender of this Certificate. 

The certificate is in very good condition with just some light crease marks on the top right. It is 7" x 10 1/2".
