Details:
This premium Go board is made from Hinata-grown Kaya, a highly prized wood traditionally used for Go and Shogi boards. Kaya wood is known for its ideal elasticity, beautiful grain, elegant color, and subtle fragrance.
The board features a straight grain (masame), which is considered a top-grade characteristic in board-making.
The annual growth rings on this board show over 170 years of natural aging, indicating the high quality and rarity of the wood.

The white areas visible in some places are from the original wax coating applied for preservation and can be easily wiped off.

This board is unused, generously sized, and in excellent condition with no cracks or chips.
