This is a rare and scarce Hong Kong banknote from the Government of Hong Kong, has a green on multi color underprint and features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in an oval frame to the right of the front. The front also displays the denomination as well as one signature in black. On the reverse side on the top is the notation “Government of Hongkong”, and Chinese (traditional, regular script) with “One Dollar” shown in the middle. The back is green and displays the denomination in the center as well in all four corners. The banknote is printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. Ltd. The note has circulated and is in good condition for its age. The note is from the year 1959 and is a one-dollar denomination. The certification of this banknote is uncertified, and it is a great piece of history from a prosperous trading hub in Asia. This banknote is a must-have for any collector of world paper money.
