This is a classic Daiwa Sealine 300 fishing reel, made in Japan and known for its robust construction and unique New York-style symmetrical layout. The reel features a simple RL (right/left) system that allows you to switch between right-handed and left-handed use by reconfiguring the anti-reverse (ratchet) stopper. The design is similar to iconic reels such as PENN, Viking, and Coronets, with the main gear offset below the spool shaft for perfect symmetry.
Please note, when using the reel in left-hand mode, the drag will need to be tightened clockwise, and the lever action will differ: push forward for free spool and pull back to engage the clutch. The included PE line's details are unknown. This listing is for the reel only; no tools are included.
