This is an end-of-line product from the manufacturer Cover Systems who will be moving to different premises sometime this year. Therefore they have let us have some job lots to avoid moving large quantities of stock. And for the same reason have temporarily almost stopped manufacturing motorbike covers, hence the price 75% discounted (normally would be £57).

Beware of other listings (on eBay & elsewhere) saying they are selling a cover for a specific bike but are actually selling a “semi-fit” cover pretending to be fully tailored. Always read the description thoroughly and be aware of the attempt to sell a semi-fit cover as tailored by simply listing it as fitting just one particular car.

 Cover Systems Outdoor covers can be quickly fitted on your bike or taken off and packed away in its own holdall. They fit securely because they are fully tailored. They have elasticated hems at both ends and an underneath strap. More than enough to keep the cover on.

The polyester woven textile is 90% waterproof (and therefore breathable), according to testing to BSI standards. To all intents and purposes this would be 100% waterproof when stretched across a frame, for example an umbrella.

The cause of water ingress is wicking, which can occur when a fabric comes in to close contact with a smooth surface, for instance a fairing or tank.

Because of the breathability (which allows any moisture to evaporate from under the cover), this is a satisfactory condition for almost all circumstances, and certainly means that sweating will not occur (you can't actually breathe through it !!).
