This exceptional vintage dress was brought from Germany by my aunt in the early 1990s, after the withdrawal of Soviet troops. It has remained in our family ever since, carefully stored and preserved. Most likely handmade, it reflects the romantic Edwardian revival style that was popular in European evening fashion of the late 20th century.

The dress is crafted from a structured silk-blend fabric in a rich burgundy tone, woven with a subtle black floral jacquard. The material has a delicate shimmer under light, giving it a luxurious and slightly dramatic character.
