This 3D printed deluxe model recreates characters and scenes from Pitfall, the classic platform adventure released by Activision for the Atari VCS in 1982. Featuring pixel-style renderings of Pitfall Harry in mid-jump over a scorpion, it captures the spirit of one of the earliest and most influential video games of the home console era. The base is printed with a special filament that contains real wood as a nod to the VCS2600 "Woody" and includes the Atari logo, Activision branding, and the distinctive PITFALL! title in bold relief.

Created by David Crane, Pitfall was groundbreaking in both scope and design. Unlike most games of the time which looped through single-screen challenges, Pitfall offered a scrolling world with interconnected jungle environments, featuring timed jumps, rope swings, alligators and quicksand. Players had to navigate 255 screens within a twenty-minute limit, collecting treasure while avoiding deadly hazards.

Its success helped define the platformer genre and proved that home video games could offer more than arcade-style point chases. Pitfall sold over four million copies and laid the groundwork for future adventure games across all systems. The visuals have become iconic in retro gaming circles, and Pitfall Harry remains a defining figure of early console history.

This model pays homage to that legacy, celebrating one of the Atari VCS's standout titles. It's a fitting piece for fans of early console gaming, Activision collectors, or anyone with an appreciation for the visual language of classic 8-bit graphics.

Approx 8" Wide with a unique textured surface, this 3D printed model is made from high-quality, recyclable PLA, both lightweight and durable, making it an ideal display piece.

Please note that as each piece is made to order, there may be slight variations in colour and finish.
