Nukeproof Horizon V2 Freehub Body 102T- Steel The freehub has been manufactured to the same exacting standards as the freehub on your Nukeproof Horizon V2 hubs. It is only compatible with Nukeproof Horizon V2 Hubs. The Steel freehub is heavier than the alloy version but harder wearing. Powerful riders and e-bikes can put a lot of strain on the freehub which in turn can wear the splines and cause your cassette to slip. The steel freehub offers a harder wearing freehub for these riders. Key Features: Hard wearing steel construction 6 Pawl, 102 Points of Engagement. Options: Shimano HG (9,10,11,12 speed) Hub seal and bushing is supplied with the freehub Installation Instructions: Remove your driveside end cap Remove the freehub by simultaneously turning it (anticlockwise) and pulling. You shouldn't need to apply excessive force to get it off. Check for damage- are the splines in good condition? is the pawl seal still in place? Grease the hub ratchet ring (opposing side of the freehub) Lightly grease the freehub pawls and springs and push and turn (anticlockwise) the freehub back in to the hub shell. Refit your driveside end cap.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Remove your driveside end cap
  2. Remove the freehub by simultaneously turning it (anticlockwise) and pulling. You shouldn't need to apply excessive force to get it off.
