While I do not have a mini tape to test the unit, it powers and all of the buttons work when pressed. There is moderate to heavy wear to the finish of the unit, including the lettering and the plastic. There is no corrosion in the battery compartment. There is a sticker on the back of the unit. Please inspect photos and ask questions prior to purchasing. Thanks!
