This 1923 Dominion of Canada 2 Dollars Black Seal banknote is a black on olive multicolor underprint with a frame made of decorative shapes and including the value of the banknote "2" & "Two Dollard". It has the portrait of King Edward VIII, who at the time was the Prince of Wales and then later become KE VIII of the United Kingdom, in an oval in the middle, with the banner "Dominion of Canada" just above it. On the left side, the word "TWO" and on the right side, the seal of the Canada Department of Finance. On either side of the portrait the serial number X169545 in red. On the reverse of the olive green note in the middle, the Coat of Arms of Canada granted in 1921 with the lettering "Dominion of Canada" just above it. On either side of the coat of arms is the numerical denomination “2”. It is a valuable addition to any collection of Canada paper money and is sure to impress even the most discerning of collectors.

NOTE: The note has no pin holes or tears but has fold marks.
