Fat Pop (Volume 1) is Paul Weller’s sixteenth studio album, written and recorded during the spring 2020 lockdown. With touring paused, Weller focused on developing song ideas stored on his phone, collaborating remotely with bandmates before reconvening at Black Barn Studios to complete the album. The result is a vibrant and eclectic set of tracks that span synth-pop, soul, balladry, and modernist rock.

Featuring guest appearances from Lia Metcalfe (The Mysterines), Andy Fairweather Low, and Weller’s daughter Leah, the album includes the single “Shades of Blue” and standout cuts like “Cosmic Fringes” and “Moving Canvas.” Arrangements by Hannah Peel and brass contributions from Steve Trigg add depth and texture throughout.

I tend to post daily except Sundays, Records are dispatched via Royal Mail 2nd Class or Paclink. tracked on 3 day delivery and 2 day delivery services.
