Originally released in 1974, The Baker Gurvitz Army is the debut album from the English supergroup formed by Ginger Baker (ex-Cream), Adrian Gurvitz, and Paul Gurvitz. Blending hard rock with jazz and Afrobeat influences, the album features the band’s signature track “Mad Jack” and reached the Top 25 on the US Billboard chart.
This 2023 Record Store Day edition is pressed on colour-in-colour yellow/beer vinyl, limited to 900 copies worldwide. The deluxe package includes a gatefold sleeve, printed inner bag, OBI strip, and replica original labels.
