Leqtique ProVoost + 9/9 Clean Booster Hi Gain Distortion Effects Pedals
Description
9/9 Hi Gain Distortion
In addition to the 3-knob specification of volume/treble/bottom gain, the specification of the middle cut is adopted in the housing, and the high gain specification which can be used for extreme metal is characteristic.
As for the gain control, as you increase the amount of distortion, the increase in sustain and the nuance of the drive sound change, so you can feel the individuality of each setting.
Also, in order to increase versatility, the tone setting is devised so that the sound is not muffled even when squeezed.
ProVoost Clean Booster
The aluminum case is made with top grade modern components such as PRP Resistor, OS-Con and Wonder SignatureSolder, as well as components with so-called antique air such as Allen Bradley Resistor and Vintage MKT Capasitor.
Leqtique's first effect with a 1+ (1) Knob layout is based on the theory of building HiFi sound with a variety of special components that it has cultivated up to now. Using a super HiFi operational amplifier LT1122 and an original design simple circuit with a high quality vintage Russian MIL spec condenser that was stored in an electronic parts warehouse in Moscow, it was completed as a "ProVoost" that boosts up the original sound of already built sounds and guitars.
By setting the “Boost ” applied to the large chicken knob to 0%, it is designed to provide audible unity gain, so it is suitable for use as a pure buffer rather than as a booster. In this case, the "Soft" mini-control is useful. This control varies the input impedance electronically over a wide range of approx. 16 kΩ 1.2 MΩ. Basically, if you set it as Soft0% all the way to the left, the impedance will be matched, and the sound will recover the lost high-frequency brilliance. On the other hand, if you feel that it is not natural, you can turn the Soft control clockwise to avoid the excessive ON/OFF difference, and make the sound soft. Since the input impedance is very low when turned to the rightmost position, the volume is slightly lowered (At this time, there is no problem to adjust the volume with Boost, and the impedance is not affected.), but the high range can be softened considerably, making it useful as an active tone shaper. The Boost control, on the other hand, provides a boost of apprpx 20dB to keep each band as flat as possible without breaking the noise. When using as a volume or gain booster, first adjust the amount of boost to Soft0%, then turn Soft clockwise according to the amount (The higher the boost, the stronger the overtone.) to create the final sound.
*After an effect with a very low output impedance, or when connected to ProVoost from an active pickup guitar, the "Soft" control will be less effective, but this is by design.
Operation Voltage : 6~18V , Current Consumption : Approx 8.3mA
