Edward the Blue Engine is one of the original, best-loved characters from Thomas and Friends — a kind-hearted, wise blue tender engine and No. 2 on the Island of Sodor. This is the vintage older Plarail version (No. T-02, "old-power" design) with the classic pre-CG face, a great piece for Thomas and Plarail collectors.

This is the original single C-battery generation of the Edward set, which predates the 2018 renewal — a nostalgic addition to any collection or display.

• 2-car set: Edward (motorized engine) + tender that doubles as the battery box
• Motorized engine (single speed) — runs on Plarail track (switch off to hand-push)
• Old-power design: a power cord runs through the coupling from the tender battery box to the engine motor
