This is an original press photo. The indoor swimming pool was part of the recreational facilities located in the basement of Biltmore House. The 27 x 52 foot pool had a maximum depth of 10 feet. Ropes, hanging down into the water, provided a place to rest for tired swimmers. Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated --none.
