Monogram Customizing Auto Engine Chevrolet 283 V-8 kit, that I believe is 1/8 scale. It has a 1960 copyright date on the box, with pieces molded in red, black, grey, and chrome.

Kit is partially built, with no paint on anything, and some gluing to the main shortblock and the supercharger. The two pistons in clear cylinders on the front of the engine rotate through their range with the crankshaft's center rod is turned by hand. Likewise, the blower's internals rotate freely when its gear is turned by hand.

All of the main components and optional pieces shown in the main parts diagram on the instruction sheet (Hilborn injection, top-mounted blower, Potvin front-mounted blower, single, triple and six carburetor intakes, different exhaust setups and the like) look to be here, except for one of the three chrome air cleaners. That said, it is a difficult kit to inventory, and there may be other small pieces missing.

There is an electric motor here, but it is untested, and I do not know whether it is the correct style motor for the kit or not (another helpful eBayer with a few of these kits advises that his kits' motors are of a different design). Also, it looks to be missing the metal battery clip, and possibly one or two other pieces of the electrical setup.

Chrome parts have good shine. The clear pieces have some glue residue, and the supercharger's clear piece has a small hairline crack in it. 

Includes an instruction sheet, two customizing guides, and a small Monogram catalog.

Box is in good original condition for its age, with some general shelfwear throughout, a few pieces of clear tape on it here and there, a sticker on the upper-right corner of the cover, and one split corner, but good coloring / graphics for the most part.
