I put  the  4 aaa bateries in the  spider and it  lights up   I do not have  the 3 ag13  batteries to test the remote   both batterie packs are very clean and there   were no batterys left in them  comes in the original box   and instruction sheet  that has some wear   see pics . this may ship ups  if you live on the west coast .
