This product is a rare mispress 45 RPM vinyl record by Marvin Gaye, titled "One More Heartache / One More Heartache", released in 1966 on the Tamla record label. The single features compositions by Smokey Robinson, Warren Moore, Robert Rogers, Ronald White, and Marvin Tarplin on both sides, with production by Smokey Robinson. The record is in mint minus - condition and comes in a cardboard sleeve, making it a valuable addition to any vinyl collection, especially for fans of Motown and Northern Soul music from the 1960s." ONE MORE HEARTACHE" composed by The Miracles with Smokey on production. A track with the usual superb vocals from Marvin Gaye with The Funk Brothers o full production layered with saxophone, constant double drumming that enhances the beat to your feet!!The disc has the A side repeated on the flip which is a fare MISPRESS ERROR one that quality control missed and a number were sent out to stores in the US. This one doesn`t match the actual release which had " When I Had Your Love" on the B side!!
This record was released from the AMERICAN RECORD PRESSING COMPANY ( ARP), in OWOSSO, MICHIGAN, DETROIT ( burnt down in October 1972) see the attached image which confirms with the letters ARP stamped in italics on the run out! A must for any Motown collector or DJ
