LOVELY VINTAGE TEACUP & SAUCER SET
Lovely vintage Shelley footed cup and saucer set - cup measures 2-7/8" tall by 3-1/3" wide, and saucer measures 5-1/2" wide. Featuring a charming chintz design of cheerful Daisies on a green ground, both pieces are accented with gold trim and bear the FINE BONE CHINA ~ SHELLEY ~ ENGLAND mark.
Condition is lovely with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage - the set rings true when tapped - no wear to the gold trim - two tiny pin point end size dots of excess paint on the cup interior - does not detract. Just a prettiest set - so cheerful and springy - I believe it dates to the late 1940s. Wonderful addition to any home, table, collection or display!
