Potter VM-1000 Voice Module

Potter VM-1000 — addressable voice module and digital message repeater for the AFC-1000V integrated voice system.

In a Potter voice system the amplifiers live out in the building beside their speaker zones, and the VM-1000 feeds them. It sits on the panel P-Link as a supervised addressable device and drives two V-Link risers, so live paging, recorded messages and tones reach remote amplifiers over a riser pair instead of running speaker level audio back to the panel.

• Two V-Link audio riser outputs, Class A or Class B
• Connects to the panel P-Link over four conductors, Class A or B RS-485
• Auxiliary input accepts line level audio, 1 V_RMS at 600 ohms, contact closure activated
• Microphone input, two Ethernet ports, SB-8 switch board connection
• P-Link current 53 mA standby, 69 mA alarm
• All circuits power limited and supervised
