This 1935 Bank of Canada Queen Mary,
wife of King George V, 2 Dollars Black
Seal PMG graded 30 EPQ Very Fine Banknote is a great addition to any serious
paper money collector. These were the first banknotes issued by the
Bank of Canada. The front of the note shows
Queen Mary in an evening dress wearing a diamond tiara and necklace. The note has a black frame decorated with abstract shapes in which
the "2" values are presented. The note has a light blue on multicolor underprint with the portrait of
Queen Mary at the left and the seal of Bank of
Canada to the right. Each
banknote has a seven-digit red serial number with a letter prefix. On the reverse the note has a dark blue on multicolor underprint, while in the middle, you have the
transportation allegory featuring the Roman mythological figure “Mercury”. To the right and left, abstract forms in
which the values "2" are presented. The PMG certification ensures
that this banknote is authentic and in excellent condition. This is a great
addition to any collection of paper money from India and around the world.
