You are bidding on a SUPERB set of WW2 German Wehrmacht 10x50 Carl Zeiss Binoculars! These were brought back by US veteran at the end of the war.

The German Army and Navy used a wide variety of optical equipment, including a 6x30 (6 power magnification with 30mm objective lens), 7x50, 8x30, 10x50 and others, being the standard issued optics used by all branches of service.  Though this type was the standard, specialized personnel required stinger optics, and were issues to personnel on a limited basis.

Made of aluminum, bakelite, and steel, by Carl Zeiss (rln), these LATE-WAR 10x50 power binoculars are in EXCELLENT used condition! The lens bodies retain about 95% of their original late-war painted finish, and the end piece fittings are 100% intact! The focus adjustments still function perfectly on both eye pieces, and the optics are PERFECT alignment (collimation). Sadly, there is a bit of haziness, but that could be rectified by the winning bidder. Right side is body marked:

Also comes complete the ORIGINAL leather neck strap! Strap is solid with no damage. One of the NICEST sets I have seen in a while, it would make for a SUPERB addition to any collection or display!
