The Replacement Gear for Opal Nugget Ice Maker made in US designed for the Opal 1.0 and 2.0 FDM models.

Also fit the FRIDGIDARE EFIC 235-AMZ model

This gear, made of 100% natural nylon.

Only Nylons should be used for gears where a slippery surface is desired.

All other materials (PLA, ABC, PET, etc.) will grind creating a plastic dust and eventually fail!

Do not waste money for ABS, PLA plastic gear that may strip or melt

Tooth count: 48 for Linix motor gearbox (57 tooth gear for SPG motor gear box available)

The bore features a small bevel on the top side

Please insert OEM core starting from the beveled side.

Installation requires good mechanical skills.

Beveled bore side marked with a Black dot goes toward the geared hub.

Best way to install is to place the gear on to the piece of wood with 10mm hole

and then force the steel hub into the gear bore with another piece of wood.
