What is an Anti-Theft Code?
The anti-theft code is required to unlock a head unit when it’s installed in a different vehicle or after a battery disconnection. To generate the PIN, provide the head unit’s serial number, found on a physical sticker on the unit or via OBD. Use tools like Xentry Star C4, Xentry VCI with Vediamo, or DTS Monaco to input the code.
How to Obtain the Radio Code for Older Systems
- Check your owner’s manual for a business card-sized note with the code.
- Look for the code on the front or back pages of the manual.
- Locate the vehicle’s VIN (17 characters) on a tag in the driver’s or co-driver’s door.
- Send us the VIN and head unit serial number to verify code availability.
Instructions
- Provide the head unit serial number and VIN before purchasing to confirm code compatibility.
- The service generates one anti-theft PIN code per head unit.
- Codes are non-refundable once generated, provided the correct serial number and VIN are supplied.
- If the head unit is reported stolen, the code will not work.
- For remote OEM support, submit a ticket online.
Terms and Conditions
- Compatible with original, used, or new head units.
- No model or year limitations.
- Orders are processed based on the recipient’s time frame.
- Full payment is required upfront. Refunds are issued only if no valid PIN is generated.
- For older DAS systems, follow the steps above to retrieve the radio code.
Note: Ensure you have the necessary tools (Xentry Star C4, VCI, Vediamo, or DTS Monaco) to input the code.
