UVW 3-Wire/310V 5-Wire Universal DC Fan Detector LED Display for Air Conditioner Motor Driver Fan
Precaution:
- Please carefully check the function of each wire of the fan plug and find the corresponding socket for insertion testing.
- Typically, a five wire DC fan has a red wire of 310V and a black wire of GND, white wire of VCC (15V), yellow wire of VSP speed control, and blue wire of FG (speed feedback).
- The function of each wire is indicated on the fan nameplate. It is necessary to ensure that the function of each wire is corresponding before conducting power on testing. Incorrect wiring will burn out the detector and fan motor.
Testing Methods:
- Five wire fan testing method: Press the three wire / five wire switch and slowly rotate the speed control knob. If the fan motor can gradually accelerate and the screen displays an increase in speed feedback frequency, it indicates that the fan motor is normal.
- If the motor does not rotate, the motor cannot adjust speed, the screen displays abnormal feedback frequency values, or the 310V light goes out, it indicates a fault in the fan motor.
- Three wire DC fan detection method: Pop up the three wire and five wire switch, slowly rotate the speed control knob. If the fan motor can gradually accelerate and the screen displays an increase in speed feedback frequency, it indicates that the fan motor is normal.
- If the motor does not rotate, has difficulty starting, and the screen displays abnormal feedback frequency values, it indicates a motor malfunction.
Note:
- Please verify the socket test corresponding to the plug wire.
