ANTIQUE DUTCH SILVER MINIATURE BABY CARRIAGE
Wonderful antique miniature Dutch silver baby carriage measuring 1-1/2" tall and 1-1/4" long. Featuring a beautifully detail pram with four working wheels, bracket handle and stationary hood, it is incised on each side with a royal crown mark - I think this is Napoleonic. Bearing four of the finest tiny hallmarks, the maker's mark is a notch ended box housing the letters A and R with some type of cup or character in-between, a lion passant, a stamp that is illegible, and date code of "P". Acquired from the estate of an avid Napoleon collector who purchased it in the Netherlands.
Condition is very nice with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, or damage - there is cased polish as shown - it is beautifully detailed and stands for display. An unusual Dutch silver miniature - nice addition to any collection!
