A porcelain bell shaped like a maneki-neko or lucky cat.  This cat has a red cord tied at the top and sits on a silk pillow.  On the front is a kanji in gold that reads "fortune" and below the kanji are red cherry blossoms.  On the back it says "bell of good luck & longevity".  Inside is a clapper that gives a nice tone when struck against the side of the cat.  This was given to us in Japan about 20 years ago and is in great condition.  Stands about 3.5" tall.
