1953 CORONATION SOUVENIR TEA STRAINER

Vintage 1953 Queen Elizabeth souvenir tea strainer measuring 6-1/2" long. Featuring a silver plated over brass sieve or stainer with decorative pierced rest accented with an enamel R.M.S. QUEEN ELIZABETH badge, this was purchased by my Grandparents who witnessed the Coronation Procession from the Apsley House stands. I believe they actually purchased this when they traveled on the Cunard line - handle back is marked E.P.N.S.

Condition is very nice with light age related wear - it has not been polished and reflects a wonderful, warm patina from age. Think this such a unique piece - fun addition to any royalty or coronation collection or display!
