RidPed Lotion is a medicated treatment for head lice and scabies. Formulated with Benzyl Benzoate 25% , it effectively reduce lice, mites, and their eggs, offering relief from infestations when used correctly.

🔍 Indications

• Treatment of head lice (Pediculosis capitis)
• Treatment of scabies (Sarcoptes scabiei)

👩‍⚕️ How to Use

For Adults and Children Above 12 Years:

✔ Treatment for Head Lice

1. Wash, rinse, and dry the hair and scalp thoroughly.
2. Apply enough lotion to fully wet the hair and scalp using your fingers.
3. Leave on for 24 hours, then wash off with shampoo and warm water.
4. Dry with a clean towel and use a fine-toothed comb to remove any remaining nits.
5. Check after 7 days. Repeat treatment if live lice are still present.

✔ Treatment for Scabies

1. Take a hot bath, scrub, and dry the skin thoroughly.
2. Apply lotion with a brush to cover the entire body (excluding head and face).
3. Pay special attention to wrists, ankles, armpits, buttocks, groin, finger/toe webs, and under nails.
4. Allow to dry and wear clean clothing.
5. After 24 hours, wash off with soap and warm water, then dry with a clean towel.
6. Repeat after 5 days if mites are still present.

For Children Aged 2–12 Years:

• Dilute the lotion with an equal amount of water before applying.
• Use under adult supervision.

Note: All close contacts and family members should be treated at the same time to prevent reinfestation.
