This is a 1st Gen Shimano Torium 30. The 1st Gen reels are the closest you can get to the original gold Trinidads. In the beginning, they were known as the "Poor Man's Trinidad," but that didn't stop people from buying these high-speed reels. This reel has been serviced by the best Reel Service Tech in Orange County, California. He verified that the carbon drags were still in great shape and re-greased every moving part with the appropriate grease thickness required. I added the clamp & the t-bar knob. If you treat these reels right, they will do you one better. I personally saw an experienced fisherman land a 280-pound Black Sea Bass on this same model reel. It was quite a feat! There is some boat rash on this reel, so look at the pictures, as I will try to catch any imperfections.
