Description of my grading, I try to stick by this scale
NM = A record that looks brand new
EX = A record that has a very minor flaw that has no effect on the play
VG+ = A record that has obviously been played and enjoyed, but also used very carefully and taken good care of. There might be some very light scratches that have no or very minimal effect on the play
VG = Your average used record. Has some obvious scratches, none are deep enough to be felt. It plays well, the music sounds very good, but there is minor background noise or light clicks
VG- = A record with lots of scratches and some that can be felt. It still plays through, the music still sounds good, no distortion, but lots of background noise and / or clicks
G = Lots of scratches, but still plays through, although very noisy and the music is possibly a little distorted.
F = partially playable
P = unplayable, a wall hanger
