      I can remember playing one of these in the mid/ late 80's I was absolutely  blown away by it but obsessed with buying my first fender stratocaster so didn't  buy it,regretted it a lot over the years! Got a bit obsessed with them 3 centre and ended buying 3,one in each colour,Black,Amber and Cherry .I then took all 3 to the best luthier I know Shane Haigh at The String Surgeon and asked him to make them the best examples of each in the country, it's  been a " journey" and quite an expensive one! If you're  reading this you're probably  already a fan! If not there's  loads of literature out there.Key features,expensive mahogany body, select pickups,accutune or steinberger tremolo units.
      This one has had the loose frets glued back in,frets levelled,polished  and set.a custom nut made and fitted.rebuild/ replace the tremolo. Fix the electrics,lube and service.new strings put on and set up.please note the tremolo arm is not original but does work ( you can get genuine tremolo arms if you take your time and look)
      I am starting this auction at the cost of all the work and parts and have not charged for the original cost of the guitar I bought! I just hope there's  enough people out there that appreciate this instrument  and how good it is that they bid the guitar up to the point I come out without loosing too much money! This is the last of my Hohnwr SG lions,this one is in Amber and has the Steinberger tremolo unit,this looks and ays amazing! I have had my luthier,Shane Haigh of The String Surgeon, put 3 together and am now selling them.This one has the String nut locking mechanism missing,they are only a few pounds on ebay.JUST REDUCED THE PRICE AS EBAY HAVE REM9VED THEIR FEES SO SELLING AT WHAT I HAVE IN IT PLUS REMEMBER IT HAS BEEN WORKED ON AND SET UP BY SHANE HAIGH AT THE STRING SURGEON  SO PROBABLY THE BEST VAKUED GUITAR OF IT'S KIND ON THE INTERNET, GRAB IT WHILE YOU CAN!
