A LARGE 8 3/4 inch tall (to top of stopper) amber-colored cylinder-shaped antique bottle that originally came filled with 1000 PHENOBARBITAL compressed tablets. This bottle is EMPTY it has NO contents. This is a RARE bottle to find in that it still retains its original FULL foil LABEL that is inset into a shield shaped front panel that is the exact same shape as the bottle! It also has remnants of some paper labels on the heel of the back side, where it also mentions '1000', the quantity of tablets the bottle came packed with. This was a product that was put out by JOHN WYETH & BROTHER in PHILADELPHIA. The paper label identifies the contents as a 1/4 GRAIN PHENOBARBITAL tablets; you can zoom in on pictures of the label for this. This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand Blown Into Mold bottle (BIM) with a tooled top, dating it all the way back to the 1800's.

Bottle's label mentions: "Wyeth's COMPRESSED TABLETS ... PHENOBARBITAL 1/4 GRAIN ... JOHN WYETH & BROTHER PHILADELPHIA".
Condition: This LARGE bottle is in shiny clean condition. It has one small shallow chip on edge of the lip, otherwise it is perfect, NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc. The FOIL label has aging; scuffs and tatters, but it is 100 % complete and 100 % legible. The GLASS STOPPER IS STUCK IN THE TOP OF THE BOTTLE but the inside of the bottle is shiny clean, there's NO gross contents or content residue, so it's okay. PLEASE SEE pictures for overall idea of the bottle AND the label's condition/appearance.
Age: An ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand-blown bottle (Blown-In-Mold = BIM) with a tooled-top, ca. late 1800's.
