***So the tag says 54 L (Euro Swiss sizing), the US Equivalent would be a 44L TECHNICALLY. 

HOWEVER, these Zegna suit jackets run small and are very much a Euro fit. I have sold them before and gotten numerous returns due to sizing, because the corresponding size number was too small for them despite the buyer normally wearing that size. If you're already familiar with sizing for this brand, then I don't need to warn you.

I know for a fact that this blazer came from a collection of blazers where the previous owner consistently wore 42L's in other brands. 

So instead I'd probably suggest seeing this suit more as a 42L or a 43L for a more close fitting jacket, instead of the tag size US Equivalent of 44L. unless you prefer a more fitted euro style, of course. Now if you have a 43 inch chest this would be just great!
