Warranty

The seller warrants that goods supplied by it will perform substantially in accordance with their published specification at the date of despatch for a period of twelve months from the date of first despatch, fair wear and tear excepted. This warranty shall not apply, and Seller shall not be liable to the customer to the extent that:

any damage or defect is caused by the customer or its agents following delivery of the goods;
the goods have been improperly altered in any way or have been subject to misuse;
the customer has failed to comply with its obligations in Condition 8;
The customer has failed to notify the Seller of the damage or defect in writing immediately upon identification (or as soon as reasonably practicable) and follow the returns procedure detailed in our Returns Policy.

The sole remedy of the Customer in the event of a proven breach of the above warranty shall be (at the the Seller’s option) either repair, replacement of the goods, or a refund of the purchase price paid for the goods. If goods are returned under this warranty and found to be faulty due to a manufacturing defect covered by this warranty and not misuse:

The Customer must notify the the Seller immediately and follow the returns process outlined in our "the Seller Returns Policy".
Goods must be returned at the buyer's expense initially.
If the item is confirmed to be faulty under the terms of this warranty and free of physical damage not caused by misuse or inadequate return packaging, the Seller will issue a replacement. Re-delivery of repaired or replacement goods will be carriage paid by the Seller within the United Kingdom or FOB United Kingdom port.
This process is subject to the customer returning the goods within twelve months of the date of first despatch.

At the Customer’s request and expense the Seller will provide a certificate of calibration for the goods.

Subject to the specific terms of our Returns Policy and this Warranty section, the Seller excludes to the fullest extent permitted by law all other terms, conditions, representations and warranties (in each case whether express or implied) which but for such exclusion would or might subsist in favour of the Customer. The goods are not sold by description or sample unless expressly stated.

Customer’s Obligations

The Customer shall ensure that the goods are stored, used and maintained by competent, trained personnel in accordance with Cable Locators and Survey’s user manual and all legislative requirements including, but not limited to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 along with the Health and Safety Executives’ guidance notes (for example HSG 47 and subsequent versions or superseding documentation) are met and that the goods are repaired only at Cable Locators and Survey’s approved repair houses.

Cable Locators and Survey shall not be liable for any act, omission, negligence or default of the Customer, its servants, agents or employees, including (without limitation) any failure to comply with Cable Locators and Survey’s instructions regarding storage, use, maintenance or repair of the goods or any material breach of relevant legislation.

The Seller Returns Policy

If you believe your item is faulty, please notify us immediately by emailing geo.art@yahoo.com. Returns of faulty items are subject to our approval and must be sent back at the buyer's expense initially. Upon receipt, the item will be inspected to verify its condition. If the item is found to be faulty and free of physical damage (not caused by misuse or inadequate return packaging), a full refund (including reasonable, pre-agreed return postage costs) or a replacement will be issued.

Seller's Rights:

We reserve the right to replace, repair, or issue a refund for the purchase price of any returned items. In cases where the returned items do not align with our return policy (e.g., are damaged, used beyond inspection, or fall under an exception), refunds may not be honored, or a restocking fee may apply at our discretion.

Used or Refurbished Stock:
