Rudolph Carl Gorman was a Native
American artist of the Navajo Nation.
Referred to as "the Picasso of American
Indian
artists" by The New York Times,
his paintings are primarily of Native
American Women.
This tile is Number 160 "CONTEMPLATION"
Signed by the artist and copyright 1977.
This is a rare version of
"Contemplation"
as it is not often found on
the large 12 inch tile.
The original lithograph of the same name
was released in
1977 and almost immediately
sold out upon
its release.

little very light scratching
to the surface.
It is complete with the original information
paper attached
to the back.
