BMG will issue a new Emerson Lake & Palmer anthology across four colored vinyl records in May 2019.

The Anthology (1970-1998) is a 4LP box set pressed on "galaxy effect" colored vinyl that features tracks from all the original albums. This is based on the 2016 three-CD set, although while it shares the same design, the track listing isn't identical. The colored vinyl is digitally mastered from HD sources at half-speed and this box comes with an insert with band photos and sleeve notes by Chris Welch.

Last month, Carl Palmer revealed he was planning an "A-list" 50th anniversary celebration of the band, which will take place in 2020.

Palmer told Billboard: "I'm looking at putting a show together, probably in America with some A-listers. I can't tell you who they are, but in principle as a project it looks like it's going to go through.
