Micron 770 Microfiche Reader 

For sale- a Micron 770 Microfiche Reader as pictured.  It is complete and in what I would consider to be good/used/usable condition.  There are some chips to the paint finish around the perimeter of the screen.  It is pictured with and sold with a 25mm lens installed.  IF you Buy It Now you may instead opt for a different magnification.  If you submit an offer it ships with the 25mm lens.

I have a second 770 that overall looks similar but at the same time the graphics are different, it looks a bit more contemporary.  I was hoping to offer that as an alternative but the lamp doesn’t come on, so for the moment that plan is on hold (the two don’t even share the same lamp mounting module).  The lamp that doesn’t work is a DDS, have not looked to see if that is the correct bulb.  On that note let me point out that the lamp in the one pictured works now as you can see, but I make no warranty regarding how long it will last.  OK, so have found that A) the DDS bulb is the correct one for the reader and B) came up with a slightly different lamp just to test the other reader and it works as pictured.  Would have to swap out the glass and the screen but you can now choose the one shown in the last pictures if you prefer.  Would ship with a new DDS lamp.
