This is a LARGE wristwatch converted from Soviet pocket watch MOLNIJA   by adding lugs.

On the dial you can see the dogs of astronauts BELKA AND STRELKA

The watch is a regulateur - it means hours and minutes hands are on different axes.

The mechanism for this watch was released at the Chelyabinsk watch factory in the 70s

The watch is used as seen on the images below but runs well and keeps time accurately as it has been serviced (cleaned, lubricated and calibrated) by a professional watchmaker.

The watch has been serviced  by a professional watchmaker: 

1. All parts tested for wear

2. Broken ones have been replaced with good parts

3. All parts washed up in gasoline

4. The movement was put whole, then lubricated and calibrated

5. The crystal is new, made of a mineral glass
