1940 Press Photo Edward J. Flynn with his wife at the booth where they voted

This is an original press photo. Flynns In Line 35 Minutes To Vote Edward J. Flynn, chairman of the Democratic national committee, and Mrs. Flynn smile at the booth in New York City where they voted Nov. 5 after waiting in line for 35 minutes. They cast ballot nos. 465 and 466 in the bronx district which has a total registration of 919. "The reelection of President Roosevelt will be overwhelming," he told reporters after they voted. Photo measures 7 x 9.5 inches. Photo is dated 11-05-1940.
