Very sturdy. These will come lightly sanded. Additional sanding may be required if you decide to stain it. Racks do not come wall mountable. It is on the buyer to install any brackets or drill any holes in back board. Arrangements can be made to drill holes or coat it with some paste wax. Just message or leave a note with your order
