The bass guitar works and makes sound, I don’t know if it’s possible to play it fully (see photos and videos)
The bass was produced by the Borisov factory in the 70-80s.
Deca: in shape it very remotely resembles Precision, made according to classical owl technology, from 4 pieces, 2 beech in the center, 2 pine along the edges, sheathed on the sides with 3-layer plywood, and painted in red-black burst, but also found specimens sheathed not with plywood, but with thin mahogany veneer, simply covered with transparent varnish, with sides painted over in black. Such decks also have a slightly different deck milling.
Neck: solid beech, with beech fretboard, 22+0 brass frets, markers, dots, in standard position, white or more often green plastic. The pegs are standard, a retainer in the form of a bracket is installed on the head. The anchor nut, in the form of a bullet, is located on the side of the head, covered with a chrome plate, the neck is fastened with 4 screws, through a metal neckplate. The neck profile, D, is frankly square.
Tailpiece: steel, curved plate, with drilled holes for the strings, covered with a chrome-plated metal cover.
