For sale is a handsome, vintage vessel...this heavy, emerald-green glass vase or decanter has handsome pewter cladding at the shoulders...in very good condition. From a local estate...see our eBay seller's list for more fresh finds. If it's a vase it is complete, if a decanter it's missing its stopper. (It is not ground for a stopper nor can one feel where a glass or metal stopper might have abraded.) Cork? Height is about 6-3/4". Held to a certain light, the glass shows optics-vertical panels. Hand-blown with a rough pontil mark. Thick, as mentioned. From Europe, we imagine, but when?...sorry not to know more. See the pictures for the form, pewter work, colors and condition which is very good as noted. No chips, cracks or repairs. No scratches. No damage or wear to the metal which has appropriate patination. There appears to be (hard to see) a trace of residue on the very bottom inside. It's in very nice shape.
